yes. but, she better have a thick skin because there will be at least 4 years of jokes.
wars are only started 1 week a month, other 3 weeks we have peace.
calls a summit with an enemy to find out if they think she is fat.
suggests everybody goes shopping to save the economy.
etc., etc.
is the usa ready for a woman? no. i do not believe Hilliary will get in for two reasons, she is a woman and she is Hillary. if a decent woman were to run, some time in the near future, yes, she will get in.
i dont think Barack Obama will get in either. he is black, and has a funny name. we americans want a certain type.
there was a time when blacks and women were not senators and mayors, the day will come when we have a woman president.

Yes, a woman is capable of being President. Women have led countries many times in the past and have done an excellent job. Women rule differently than men but can be just as strong as men. In our current situation could Hillary make a good, strong President? I do not believe she could. I do not feel she has the qualities I am looking for in a President. I have not decided whom to support in the upcoming elections but I have time. I do know it will not be Hillary.

Yes, but does America think so? There are so many closed minded people in the US that will still look upon a woman President as being a "woman" first then a leader second. That's why the US hasn't had anybody other then white males as President yet. We can't seem to get pass labeling people then taking that label and limiting them to the lowest negative aspect of that label. Example libs=commies and cons=fascist comes to mind.

YES I DO AND I HOPE ITS HILLARY CLINTON!!!! and she should have Barack Obama running as her Vice President!!
IF she doesn't get the Democratic nomination and they give it to Obama he should have Clinton run on his ticket for VP...
Either ticket will be a blockbuster and one powerhouse to be reckon with....All you people bashing Clinton and we got this sad sack in the oval office now....Bill was a good president...keep the peace around the world for the most part....balanced the national budget and even had a surplus when he left office....so he lied about having an affair...what married man wouldn't lie if he was caught????? He got a bum rap because of who he was at the time if he wasn't the president of the USA.....We wouldn't know a dam thing about him and being unfaithful...The country stood by him his ratings went up after he admitted that he lied....
MINEY MOUSE CAN DO A BETTER JOB THEN GEORGE W. BUSCH!!!!!

Or it could be the exact opposite.
Example: Chairman Mao's wife of communist China. She murdered her own people.
I agree with the strengths and weaknesses you stated above however, you can take things to the extreme with emotions that can lead to irrational and illogical behavior.
Being peaceful all the time will not happen. "If you wish for peace, prepare for war." There will always be another who wishes to destroy you, so fighting must happen.
I believe women are just as able as men to be leaders. Just remember that if one extreme gets its way, then a woman can be very cruel.

Yes, I believe a woman could do the job, that is the right woman. I do not, from the bottom of my heart, believe that Hillary is that person.
I see Hillary as a crafty and conniving, vindictive show person who concentrates on playing to her audience rather than say what is truly on her mind. I have seen her style and her demeaning approach to people appointed to guard and protect her. I have read excerpts on her vile diatribe, in public, when she is upset with the intended target of her wrath.
This is not what a country, that is already accused of arrogance and insensitivity needs to heal old wounds, either domestically or internationally.
If those who chose to support Hillary, and also want a country unified, you're going in the wrong direction. This country will split in two, over a Hillary success.

Yes, why wouldn't they be? Most women are typically more accustomed to multi-tasking and generally take on a wider variety of tasks than men. Before the men get their panties in a bunch, I said "most" and "typically". By nature, men are raised to be more project focused. That being said, I would think that a multi-tasker would be a good choice to run the country, don't you? I'm not in favor of the woman who is planning to run for office, but feel that there would be some other great choices.

ANY woman (with the possible exception of Hillary Clinton) would be more capable of being President than the current insane occupant of the White House. -RKO- 09/07/07
P.S. I take that back....Hillary might even be more capable than GWB.

Yes, indeed. There have been several world leaders that were, or actually still are, women. There is nothing inherent in the feminine gender that would make a woman unfit for the office.

Of course. And despite what Hillary's campaigners imply, gender is NOT a major issue in this election.
This election is a fight between capitalism (Republicans) and socialism (Democrats).
If you want freedom, vote Republican. If you only want security and to be wrapped in the warm government blanket of a "nanny state", then vote Democrat. (But don't gripe if this costs you some of your freedoms.)
