They have a few anti chafing powders and powder/creams out there now. I think NexCare has a few if you can find it in your local pharmacy. You can also just try applying a medicated powder that will relieve the irritation from previous chafing and help to reduce any in the future.

My hubby gets chafing playing golf all the time too. Try wearing boxer briefs, where the fabric covers more of your thighs. Put Mexsana powder on the sore part.
I have never heard of using diaper rash cream for this, but I know that Boudreaux's butt paste is supposed to be really good stuff. Was created by a LA pharmacist and now it's in Targets across the country.

They have this great liquid powder for babies, i think gerber makes it. Just for easier application. Also, when you decide on a powder make sure the main ingredient is cornstarch, all the extras could irritate the area more. You are going to want to treat the area as well so some neosporin or other ointment the night before would be a good thing.

You do not say where the chafing occurs. However, as it ''doesn't sound nice'' I am going to presume that it is in the crotch area and prescribe accordingly. 1. Buy a roll of open weave lint. 2. Tape a pad of it to the top inside of each thigh. 3. Wear boxer shorts. Dare I say -- lose some weight. Enjoy your Golf.

I bought Activ-Flex Blister Block Stick by Band-Aid brand. i use it not on ly for foot blisters but thigh chafing as well. Does a great job. it says not to use on already formed blisters or wounds though.

You could try rubbing Vaseline on years ago when I used to play football regularly we used to put Vaseline on our thighs which reduced the stinging if the ball made contact with your thighs

You probably will not believe I'm serious. But, I promise. I am! There is a product called "Beaudreaux's Butt Paste" that works very very well.

I know the name is crazy! lol But, this stuff is really good!

I use Bag Balm. It is made for another type of bag (cows' udders) but it does the trick.
