I want to invest about $5000 dollars on a stock (not very risky). Do you have any ideas?

I would highly recommend CDL. It is a recent spin off of Disney. I have owned shares since the spin off. It has dropped to $4 per share but has a lot of up side. Usually spin offs do better than the remaining parent company.
Citadel Broadcasting Corporation operates as a radio broadcasting company in the United States. As of June 12, 2007, it owned and operated 179 FM stations and 66 AM stations in 46 markets in 24 states.

Investing in just one stock (any stock) carries risk. Limiting yourself to stocks under 10$ shows a lack of knowledge. If that $5000 is meaningful, don't buy any stock until you learn about investing. If its play money and don't not matter if you lose it, then go ahead.

not very risky.....

Then DO NOT put all $5,000 into one stock.

don't worry about price per share.... 50 shares of ISRG bought at $100 per share would have earned you a LOT more than most of the little BS stocks you would have bought.

decide what you want in a company... have an idea how to value a stock... buy stocks that fall into your category.

considered one of two techniques, one is a mutual fund that invests in Asia or pass directly to the source listed decrease than. My ultimate suggestion is to pass the mutual fund decision. you appear to be new at making an investment interior the inventory industry, and that isn't a place to 'play at' making an investment. you may desire to lose all your money.
