If by "our law", Someone who knows and stands by watching of a crime is complicite to the crime, then wouldn't God be a criminal? ( since god is all knowing and has the power & ability to control/intervene )

And, If thats the case why would people look up to him and worship someone like that?

God gave people free will for some purpose unknown and unknowable to us. For the deity to interfere in the actions of individuals because society judges them as wrong would abrogate that free will...and I don't think God does that very often.

We are not qualified to judge the actions of God, because his (or her) motivations and acts are imperfectly transmitted to us, and are in many ways incomprehensible to us. As Paul says, here on earth we "see through a glass darkly; then it will be as face to face."

the power to intervene does not imply the requirement to do so... it's that free will thing.

without bad/evil, there is no good- and, as they say, God is good.

regardless of the law, we all get to have the opportunity to face the Law on our own behalf...there IS a test.

better have your answers ready, you will be required to show your work. Grades are FINAL.

A long time back, many years ago, I nelt to except Christ. Blind faith, was the way I used to beleive. Now, My faith is questionable. I have seen to many questions here, that cause one to re think some things. There is much, that does seem to contradict. I guess, if your out for blood as so to speak, take it up with the one that created you.

That's Heaven. Perhaps one thing we are here to learn in this life is what things are like when God doesn't enforce good behavior. And I think we have some pretty good examples.
