Ask Dr. Who to take you to the beginning of time in his Tardis and... you'll know for sure.Sorry for such a stupid remark, but let me explain.
A. your hubby can't scientifically prove God exists.
B. you can't scientifically prove that God doesn't exist.
IMO you're both... believers, nothing more, nothing less.
Getting mad or having arguments about it is IMHO a waist of time and energy. You could just as well ask, which is better, Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Atheism or Witchcraft ?
Thinking and talking about different opinions/possibilities is a good thing IMO, but as long as we don't _know_ what's the absolute truth there's no point in getting mad (or fighting wars...) over our beliefs.
Which belief is crap and which isn't ?
I don't know, I'm satisfied with that, it even helps me to stay open minded to all possibility's.

Creationism has NEVER had any scientific data to back it up and it does not make any sense to me why people favor it over evolution. I am a spiritual person that believes in God and am very open minded about religious beliefs, but believers in creationism are denying science and fact.
I think it is funny when people say the don't "believe" in evolution. That is like saying that you don't "believe" the sky is blue. It is, it is a proven fact, and it is never going change.

No offense, but you're husband is clearly an ignorant moron and I don't know how you could respect him enough to have actually married him.
I am agnostic as I don't know and neither does anyone else whether or not there is a "God". However, evolution is a scientific FACT, like gravity. People who don't believe in evolution simply don't know what it is and are not interested in learning. They base their ideas about evolution on ridiculous bullsh*t that they got from some religious freak or organization. This is something to be pittied since no amount of wanting something to be true will every make it true.
Evolution has a mountain of physical evidence to support it involving practically every field of Biological science, including Genetics, Geology, Paleontology, ect..
The only thing creationists have is "faith". Since it cannot be tested and falsified, it CANNOT be science.

I am always amazed there is even a conflict with this subject. Why is it so impossible for Christians to believe evolution WAS the creation plan by God, and that we are still evolving - quick example is a 6' young man today (about average) would have been a giant 300 years ago. U do know there are people who believe fossils were "planted" there by the devil to mislead us on creation/evolution truths. lol

Evolution is a proven observable fact and is going on all around you right now. Ignoring the obvious issues about human evolution just consider plants and animals that alter their habits and even form to survive in a changing environment. That is evolution and what Darwin observed and wrote about. If you want some interesting reading look up Darwins finches. I have included a link below. The real issue is that the beaks have evolved so that each species can survive in it's specific eclogical niche.
If you don't believe this then look at the Black Angus steer that has been artificially evolved to have a different body shape, bone structure and fat to muscle percentage than it's original genetic ancesters. Evolution can be triggered by many things even man to force evolution.
As for the argument about evolution and creationism. Don't argue about it. It is not important other than something that he uses to push your buttons. There are hundreds of creation myths in the world and each group that believes in them thinks that theirs is the only one. I have found at least 18 separate creation myths that the Native Americans believe.

Use your head.
Evolution has only the following pitiful support; is only supported by science, reality, facts, smart people, empirical evidence, experience, passing enumerable tests after tests and peer review.
Whereas the fantasy of creation has a book written by a scholar appointed by a non-believer sometime in the 4th century to write down accounts based upon heresy given by various illiterate true believers as best they could remember or make up as to what might have happened some three hundred and fifty years in their past.
This info was then decided over by various self appointed sooth-sayers in the Catholic Church to pick and choose just what was to become the official account. This account was then revised when deemed appropriate until it sat un redacted until it’s next translation some 1000 years plus later when an actual scholar translated the “New Testament” part into English.
This scholarly work together with another translating the “Old Testament” done in the 1400’s by yet another actual scholar were then adjusted politically by supposed scholars in the early 1600’s named in honor of the then King of England, a work finally finished in the mid 1700’s to become the 5 thousand year old bible that true believers claim to be the “inerrant word of God”.
Who could accept anything other than such an accurate, god inspired work such as this? I mean, come on, you wanna take the word of a bunch of educated scholars, scientists, people who read over Mesopotamian illiterates? Jaysus, what must Ya be a thinkin. Get yur bible out and prey.
Evolution is real, the rest is fantasy. Come to grips with it.

evolution of course! :D look at it this way: congregationalism can't be explain, GOD? HA! we need real answers and science can prove that evolution started the way of life. when dinosaurs became extinct, the only animals to have survived where water creatures, after words, water animals evolved into land animals and thus! the new world began again! tell your hubby THAT.

Tell him the truth. If he believes evolution is false, he is ignorant. I'm sorry, but that is the truth. And if you are married, you probably love each other enough to tell the truth. Tell him he is ignorant.
If he wants to know why his is ignorant, then you can start showing him the science, and explaining all his questions.

Evolution, creationism cannot explain the age of the earth or dinosaurs to name but two anomalies. What can you do? Respect the fact that each others beliefs are different.

Evolution has one big problem there are no monkey's or any animal for that matter presently evolving into human beings.
Creationism story is just as riddled with nonsense.
"There are no mysteries to those who know truth and reality. Mysteries, theories, speculations, vain imaginations, perceptions, opinions and beliefs are invented by those who do not know how, why, and when life came into existence. Religion is worse than science in its speculative effort to satisfy the human ego. There is no precept of religion or science that comprehends or properly explains Reality--which is things as they were, as they are and as they are to come.
Science is a type of religion, just as religion is a type of science, wherein the mystery of life remains a mystery to those who don't understand it , but pretend to."
