That is not true. I met HBK in Orlando when I was on holiday in 2003. We were both in the queue for that Buzz Lightyear ride. I was a bit nervous but my family did urge me on just to get his autograph. He was fantastic to meet. One of my all time favorite wrestlers. I haven't met Orton so I don't know that one
The main example of a real jerk in real life is Batista. He's probably disappointed a lot of his own fans

These guys work out at the gym I am a member of when there are house shows in NE Ohio and I have never seen anyone not treat people with respect when approached for an autograph or to talk for a couple of minutes.
The talent in this industry - for the most part - realize it's the fans buying T-shirts and tickets and PPVs that makes them move up the ultra-competitive ladder to main event status.

No, I actually met HBK in a mall in Houston, Tx. He was joking around and very respectful. To me he seemed like a great guy.
Orton is not an ****** in real life. He play a character in a script written by the WWE. Some of you people really need to get a clue, a life, or something. Pro-Wrestling is entertainment, nothing more. I love to watch it, knowing this fact.

It seems that those that are fan favorites are the jerks, and the heels are the really nice ounes outside the ring. There are a few examples that go against the rule, like remember DDP? Him and Kimberly were absolutely wonderful when I met them. Scott Hall and Kevin Nash were really cool. Ric Flair is another one that was awesome to meet. Tatanka, I met him at a grocery store down here. He was with his daughter. Nice guy. Yeah, some of them are assholes, but you get that in every profession.

Orton and HBK are jerks, period. Of course, Michaels has atoned for that by being the second greatest overall American wrestler of all time.
I'm basing that off actual backstage events that are significant. I don't consider bad run-ins with over-eager fans to be significant.

He is very good with his fans. The majority of WWE superstars are. WE as Fans have to respect how we approach them ( not while they are eating, in the bathroom etc. )and they will most of the time treat you very well.
