Lust or physical attraction leads many to make the initial connection with the person. This is a natural process that bring couples together at the start but it is not love. Love takes time to develop were as lust is instantaneous. A relationship based on lust being satisfied may not progress into a loving long term commitment. Waiting for a relationship to become more then lust being satisfied is more likely to give the couple time to develop a deeper more caring relationship. There are no guarantees and there are exceptions to this-love is not easy to find and keep. It does take work to maintain.

Because people often mistaken lust for love or vice versa... ^_^
And a successful relationship needs both lust and love, without lust, there's no passion in your courtship, without love, your relationship is just temporary.
