Yeah. She's getting on my nerves now and the way she went on to Audrey - well I think she needs locking up.
It gets me how Ashley doesn't defend himself at all
by telling her what Casey has said to make him think that Clare doen't want him anymore. Grrrrr. I mean she left him
on his own and he never knew if she was going to go back.

I agree, she was kinda likable once but in the past couple of years she's turned into a right moaning bint. I think it's something to do with becoming a bus driver - here in Manc they don't give you a driving job unless you're a miserable sod!

She is a bit plain and simple I guess. I don't think I have ever seen her let her hair down and have fun! I know what you are saying however Ashley should not have had an affair. Then again, we are all human and he thought him and clare were over so I guess he found comfort in cacey!

There is never an excuse for having an affair .. you can always leave someone if you dont love them.
However, the character seems to have conveniently forgotten that she left her husband and one of her children for weeks at a time with no remorse.
Wow ..its more like real life than I realised!

I may be in the minority here but I like Claire. She may be naive but she`s had a lot to cope with. Why not blame Ashley for having an affair?

So would you moan if your best friend tried to kill you, kidnapped your baby and then you got blamed for doing it yourself and on top of that your hubbie has an affair with your best friend! All that after having post natal depression - no wonder the poor girl moans!!!!

She is quite miserable but she was suffering from depression. Eventhough she is dull at least she is caring towards Ashley which is alot more than some couples.

its just the formalities for a good soap u always need a drip, corrie has one, eastenders, hollyoaks, emerdale, even crossroads had 1,
however clare is the best fool by far.
