Hitting your team mate with a bat is an offense and Shoaib has been sent home rightly. I wonder why Pakistan team management could never handle him properly? We all know he is an exceptional fast bowler and we all know his attitude. So why those highly paid officials of PCB can not use their brains to use Shoaib's talent in a proper way. Anyway in my personal opinion his career is over after this incident and only a miracle can bring him back into the team.

Cool man. Take it easy.
First of all have a look at his stats. Specially the bowling figures.

As of 03 February 2007
Now it's clear that he is a big big big match winner. After the retirement of Wasim & Waqar, Pakistan has not found anyone as good as Shoaib Akhtar. He is controversial for sure but he is an asset.
Pakistan team today is not a special team at all. All the seniors have retired. Pakistan has a young team. Talented but still young. So they need some one like Shoaib to fuel the side. Without Shoaib their record is 'POOR'
With Shoaib in the team , Pakistan becomes a totally different opposition. It's hard to throw someone as good as Shoaib out of the side easily. It's easy to say for us to kick him out, but it's a tough job for Pakistani selectors.
Pakistan is not a special team without Shoaib. There bowling line up is not as good now as it was in the 80's & 90's. That golden era of Pakistani fast bowlers is over now.
The only way to throw him out is if either some young bowlers start challenging him for the place in the team. Now that is something that i just don't see happening at the moment. You will not get bowlers like Shoaib on a mango tree. These talents are rare.
You find players like Sachin & Shoaib once in a generation. So it will be tough to get him out of Pakistan team.
ENJOY!!!

Do you know that Pakistan Cricket team captain Insam-mamul-huq payed a couple of billion dollars to all the ministers over the world to be his side and stop Shoib from bieng banned otherwise I also think that Shoaib should be banned.

Why somebody should do that? Shoaib is very capable of doing that all by himself. As reported after the net practice incident he has been sent back to Pakistan. Hitting your team mate with a bat is criminal offense and he should be tried in a court of law but maybe in Pakistan hitting someone is not a crime.

He is a great bowler,O.K.
If you look at the records over the last few years you will find that Pakistan has played without him(for different reasons) more often.
Pakistan had some good wins without him and also a few losses with him in the team.Even if he is banned it won't make much difference for Pakistan.Let them take the decision after detailed enquiry if fit for action.
