A while, Asuwish, yes sir, quite a while! I don't know why something changed in me a few years ago. But all disappointments accumulated, saying : 'We'll tell you when You as well as us must convalesce. You're wounded, but strong and resilient to again return when We all are ready!'
And so, I've trusted this "gut" feeling be obeyed...but still some wounded-ness remains. A precipitous decision made by me, unannounced to the others, would deliver me back to more pain...and that pain again, I'd rather not repeat.
Not because I am a coward, or prisoner of a fear, but because keen intuition demands it!
If ever comes a time for me to feel the pleasure of someone's lap, or my lap offered to that other, I will Know it'll be the thing to allow occur. Until then, I must take gentle care of me and mine.
And I do think, this convalescence has made me a more prepared person to Give and receive, one day Again.
