Unless you are intimate with that person, I really don't think it would come up in normal conversation. Sexual preference means nothing, it's not like you have to paint it on a billboard, unless it is just a statement that you are attempting to make. I would keep it to yourself unless you were intimate with someone. Not because I would be embarassed, just because it isn't need to know.

I don't tell anyone I am heterosexual. How can one stay monogamous and be bi sexual?! How do you have a stable relationship if you have no gender preference?! I am sorry, your question post.
