No, it has taken this long because of the lack of forensic evidence. Kate is being framed based on concrete forensic evidence found in the boot of the car.

I highly doubt its a set up. It has gone on for months with no developments. I think there is something in this, which is why Kate has been oulled back in for further questioning.

I think that the portuguese police did not investigate properly and because of that they have to find somehow a person to blame for their not well done work. Who 's mother wouldn't want to be in the place where her child had dissappeared? I wouldn't leave the country until I have found her. They are not happy for the fact that they can't find the girl, and because they can't do much about it..
My main question is : Why just now they are investigating the parents and the house?
I am sure if it was the british police this subject was over a long time ago and with an answer and the investigation would have been proper done.

Damn straight!!! There is lots more going on here than meets the eye. Portugal has been known to have a large paedophile ring involving some of the most powerful and influential people. Wouldn't surprise me that their are some bad cops in high places framing these parents. Its happened before in Portugal. This way they can frame the folks, case will be closed, no one will be looking for this little girl anymore and then the games can begin.......they can finaly move her about and do what they intended right from the beginning. Blood found in the car? weeks after she was reported missing? why weeks later?...what a shambles, if the cops are not in on the whole deal, then they are trying to get this case wrapped up so that they might stop looking like the arseholes they are. I DEFINATELY smell a rat here...maybe a couple of rats....

I'm not angry with the fact that Kate is a suspect the police haven't blamed it on Kate. she is being treated like any other suspect would be .. and it is very odd that blood has been found in the car the mcanns hired what 5 wks after maddies disappearance

It has taken 150 days to put the evidence together.
For goodness sake the Mccann's and their "Friends" have told one lie after another, not to mention the use of famous and powerful contacts to in an attempt to sell the abduction STORY , and thereby hide the truth.
Anyone with an iota of common sense realised months ago that the parents were involved.
What makes me angry are those people who are STILL supporting the Mccann's! Wake up and smell the coffee, and whilst your at it, take those rose tinted glasses off - the Mccann's are NOT a fluffy couple.

by portugese law, as a suspect she is afforded more rights than as a witness. I think the police are just doing this to be more thourough and so they can ask her the questions and eliminate her as a suspect properly.

As a suspect, she will be able to have an attorney present, whe will be able to refuse answering any questions and some other stuff. As a witness, she would not have all those rights afforded to her.

I haven't heard them being blamed just that they are suspects, and why have they now decided to come home have they spent all the money and are now going to con more out of the British public.when they were in Portugal what did they actually do to find their daughter apart from sunning themselves on the beach travel everywhere the press were going to be not something concerned parents would do

They are treating her as a suspect because they have found new evidence, apparently the scent of death was detected on her clothes amongst other things. So no, I am not angry with the police, they are trying to establish what has happened to Madeleine

This girls disappearance never made sense to me. The parents go out to dinner leaving all 3 children alone and then come back to find one child missing and the other 2 fast asleep. Come on now.
If the keystone cops have forensic evidence well then so be it. Hopefully they didn't bobble this case so bad that these parents get off on a technicality.

That would be like being angry over the California Police blaming Scott Peterson for murder.
