Thats the theory of anti-matter. Everything started from 0, so to balance the equation of the universe having things inside, theres anti matter that acts like a negative number does to a positive.

But personally, i like to think God had a hand in it :)

Indeed we do not have an answer to the creation of existence and I believe that those who believe in God are a happier lot blissfully believing that God created it all.

The latest thinking in science is theorizing that it was the vacuum energy that resulted in an inflation and then ended up in the Big bang... but then vacuum needs space and where did that space come from?

Logically there are only two possibilities... either all of it has always been there like a continuum constantly changing but never increasing or decreasing in totality.... this first possibility still leaves the doubt in our mind as to how it came to be first of all..... the second possibility is that everything has actually come out of nothing... although it is so difficult for us to even assume that nothingness can suddenly change to such fullness, there is one way I try to understand this through elementary maths..... zero can always be split into numerous pluses and minuses which when put together would sum up to zero... this gains some credibility in my mind because this universe is indeed filled up with opposites galore.

However, as you said it absolutely correctly, this is something only God knows, so to say!!

technological know-how does not have a sparkling concept yet as to how the universe got here to being. even with the shown fact that that's not at all the God. some day technological know-how could be waiting to crack this for particular. Ascribing credit to god for "creation" is irrational through fact, if some thing must be "created" with a view to convey that for the period of to existance, then the subsequent glaring question could be "who created god"? My own feeling is that god replaced into developed (and now favourite) interior the recommendations of early humanity - who replaced into frightened and blind to happenings in its surrounding. sure, we've not got any conclusive info as to how the Universe got here to existance. So, for now, enable's face that particular issues exist "basically like that"..

You are right when you say, "only God knows the answer."

A true agnostic believes that the truth is unknowable.

This is the case with your question. No one can truly answer the question of how the universe came to be.

g-day!
