As an Englishman who is currently in the USA on business i feel i must ask this.
Recently i was in a bar in New York trying to get blotto, as i consumed my 36th pint of American lager(=shandy)i felt the sudden urge to puke my guts up .The toilets were over the otherside of the bar so i decided to into spew into a ladies handbag which she had left on the bar.As i was spewwing into the bag i noticed the lady ask the barman for a drink without saying PLEASE.If this is how Americans behave no wonder people think they are rude.

Gee I'm not sure. At least we don't anonymously go to web-sites and talk about how horrible people from other countries are............

Hi Sidney. After 36 shandies ( American lager) I'm surprised the lady's handbag (purse in the U.S.ofA.) was large enough to hold it all. Had you not eaten? I hope you showed your good manners by thanking the good lady for the use of her purse. If you go closer to home, you should find some good bourbon down Atlanta way.

Common courtesy and manners are a lost art on the younger population but I don't think this is just an American problem. The younger generations are to self absorbed. Just look at them everything is all about them. However, you need to come to the South where there still are some people that are friendly and have some manners.

My, you sure do get around.

Last month you were in L.A and now it's NYC.

What's so funny about this is that the only negative thing I have to say about London is how the utter insanity of liberalism has contributed to social decay.

By God Man....England is the heart of Western Civilization

Please Take it back from the fundies.

Actual Americans with manners aren't allowed to venture out into the evening...

We're sitting at home playing board games and reading to our children. Doing family things!

You asked a question very similar to this a few days ago. Except that you were pissing up against the bar in that one.

Get some new material.

We do, just not around people like you.

Well said, Brian. And it's not just the Internet. Go live with them. It's a way of life for them. They enjoy encouraging their radicals against Americans.

Poor angry Doctor John...

We only do things like that when the British are around. What a bunch of ding dongs, but being in NY City, your lucky that woman did not cut your balls off. But I see a lot of British customs in the US, like the way they run a country
