Whats a theory? Its like a hypotheses...a possibility.
And there are many many possibilities...
I'm not so imaginative so as to come up with theory after theory but a good guess is that since they hired the car weeks AFTER HER DISAPPEARANCE...the abductor may have used the very same car & got the car rental to hire the same one to the McCanns in a bid to frame them.
One theory / possibility from me...
Stranger things have happened.

The same way you explain how the Mother and Father managed to function throughout all this. I always said that if anything happened to any of my Girls, I would have to be sedated like a horse to keep myself from comitting suicide, they just danced and pranced their way through it. No Mother, regardless of how *strong* she is could function that well. I always, always knew that something just didn't match up...now the blood seals my theory. Sickest part of it is how they duped the world into their story. Took advantage of all those good souled people. Shame on them to the bizzilionth power.

as ayou know ive never been a McFann, but im shocked! Perhaps most of our gut feelings, re kate and gerry's behaviour our actually right! A lot of us always doubted their reactions, and emotions! Lets hope to god they are innocent!Can't believe how bad this looks!

I agree with swiss girl. Something is definitely wrong about those parents. What kind of parents would say that they'd preffer their daughter to be dead than live without her???
