There are Bugatti's and then there are bugatti's.
This car fell out of production for years. For a while there were fiberglass kits made of some of the Bugatti models.
When the model was "Re-born" the fiber glass models dropped off the market due to copyright laws.

Well Bugatti is a French Brand but was bought by Volkswagen in 1998 but the Car is built in France and the Factory where the Car is built is actually the Home of the Orignal Owner of the Company the late Mr. Bugatti himself.

first france: mühlheim (sounds german, right?), with capital of a french noble man and the creativity of an italian "artist": ETTORE BUGATTI;
(like among the best french cars ever where designed by an italian artist and engineer FLAMINIO BERTONI: citroen traction avant, ds, 2cv) (not to be confuse with bertone that designed some french cars, too, like citroen bx, xm, ...; pininfarina worked more with peugot) (i've put them in capital letters, because they were and are forgotten crazy artists, but people that like cars, should remember them);
then in campogalliano close to modena in italy in early 90s with capital from nowhere (luxembourg sounds french, right?) and creativity from everywhere; the ignition came from the earlier importeur of suzuki in italy (romano artioli?);
after having bought lotus the went bankrupt...
then mr piech (sounds german, right? but is austrian) bought for vw, volkswagen, the brand and everything, bringing everything back to mühlsheim again; how french can be cars when paid and designed by volkswagen, you can see what happened to lamborghini: how italian is it?

Its designed in Britian, and built there, yet they test it in germany. Bugatti is partly owned by VW/Audi
