I think that the press should have a page in every paper with photogarphs of missing chrildren every day..Maybe alot more children will be found!
Lets be honest a lot of the time they print a load of rubbish.
In answer to you question No missing child is more important than another missing child.

They are. Every child is precious.
Its just that Madeleine's parents have striven to spread awareness of their baby in an attempt to get her back.
I do wish all missing children had the very same coverage.

What an ignorant answer Monica, Wikipedia is written by anyone who takes the time and is not recognizable in any field of sociology or physiologically. With that said find a family who spends as much time and their own money/credit to devote to locating their missing child and I will show you a mother who is on the news. There is not a news station in this country who will turn down an interview with the mother of a missing child because that child is black or brown as apposed to white. Monica show me a mother who is not white who is spending the time and money the McCain's are spending and not getting media attention. It is not about color it is about how loud the parents are yelling for people to look at them! There are thousands of white children missing as we speak not getting the media attention this one case is getting. So again find a mother spending that amount of time and money and I'll show you a mother on TV....regardless of her skin color.

I know what you mean, its ridiculous that this case has eclipsed all other cases of missing children who are just as important. I feel the media is the blame for this to a large extent.

It has nothing to do with how important the children are it has to do with how much time and effort the parents put into drawing the media's attention towards them.

They are equally important.Child is a precious gift from God and anybody holding ones child without any reasonable cause is a tormentor and satanic.You are asking a question as if you belong to such groups.

Way back when she disappeared, I posted about a family of children who had been killed in south london by their mother who was later sectioned under the mental health act . . . nobody cared about them because they were asylum seekers.
