What invention gave women the ability to act on her own will?
Since the vote isn't an invention, nor is the right to work or own property, I agree that the Pill gave women the most choices, to control 99% of the time whether you'd get pregnant or not. Pregnancy, especially repeated pregnancies are still a condition fraught with medical complications for women world-wide.

There hasn't been something invented yet to my knowledge that allows for that. Liberty is generally considered a concept of political philosophy and identifies the condition in which an individual has the ability to act according to his or her own will.
Nobody in our human culture can act completely according to their own will without the repercussions of the will of others impacting their decisions short of a final act of independence in a situation where death is imminent and nothing can stop that last freely chosen action.

The hand gun/rifle.
Women couldn't fight before that invention because axes and swords were much to heavy for their weaker upper bodies. Guns put men and women in equal footing, atleast on killing people(which women rarely do).

I'd say it was the electric oven.
No longer did the woman need to go into the woods to chop down a tree and gather the wood in order to start a fire in an open pit or fireplace to cook the evening meal. With the advent of the electric range, she now found herself happily unhampered and able to take her time in the barnyard selecting, killing, and cleaning the animal of choice for the dinner without the need for a cumbersome and time consuming open fire.
