It,s mainly well educated middle class women that run it. They do,nt take into account CLASS. The elite of the movement r so academic and not practical so they have alienated and ignored a whole class of women. It is drenched in class snobbery- if ur not at least Degree educated then u r a troll, ur opinions mean nothing and u should just b passive and just listen to the well educated, middle class female elite whom obviously know better. I am an educated working class male and from my perspective many w/c women would like their partner to help around the house more and not beat the crap out of them when alcohol is consumed. Never mind having to read obscure academic books on gender politics. DE Bouverie said that "a woman is happiest when basking in the envy of another woman". I think women in general are more class conscious than men. This sums up the middle class educated elite of the Women,s Movement! All snobbery, jealousy, back biting and internal conflict Hence, no equal pay!

I have encountered woman like that. The ones who look down on you because you never got a degree in anything, yu don't send your kids to private schools and you do the clothes shopping in Primark.
I have the mental capacity to get myself a degree if I so wished, and I can hold my own in any debate on any subject that they want to throw at me, but because I fit into their stereotype, I could never be taken seriously by them. I'm a single parent, i live on a council estate and I never went on to further education - not because i didn't have the intelligence, but because I wanted to get out into the world.
To be honest, I'm glad I'm not one of them. They're elitest scum who are constantly trying to outdo each other. I can't be arsed with all that. Lifes too short.

I am a working class woman I have 2 cleaning jobs,I dont have a degree or "O"levels,I am however educated and have many qualities to do many jobs,I was unable to achieve any qualifications due to the Thatcher goverment as my dad was made redundant and I had to leave school to bring money into the house, the headmistress in the school where I work tried to be patronising with me once, but with some intelligent dialect from me she soon realised I was no idiot, yes we are under paid and looked down on by some higher paid women who have mundane lifes and are unhappy, which goe's to show all the money and power is nothing...............At the end of the day your job status doe's not make you a better person than anyone else or more educated..................

You don't sound working class to me! I don't have a degree, just a Level 3 NVQ equivalent to an "A" Level. I would like to inform you that Domestic Violence affects BOTH genders of ALL classes! My husband DOES help around the house instead of beating several shades of SH!T out of me!
