This is the biggest mystery of creation, we all know that we may die any second and despite this knowledge we make plans for our future life. Our greed is endless and it pushes us down in the dark abyss of ignorance, and we fail to know about the divine magic created by GOD and we remain in a state of perpetual delusion. We have eyes to see but we remain blind, we have ears to hear but we fail to listen and we have intellect to think but we fail to contemplate and all this keeps us bound in the eternal cycle of birth-life-death-rebirth out of which we may never release ourselves.

I could guess that you are an Indian because
what you have writtten is an Indian sentiment.
Rest of the world do not think that way.

Indians accept Karma and live with some certainity
of future. People of the rest of the world live
with uncertainity about future. There are so many
types of crimes in the world that what ever you
earn may be lost by just any means (some
thing like cyber crime of robbing money from
bank accounts using computers).

Our life and death is not our hands. It is only in the hands of GOD(means: Generator,Operator and Destroyer).Actually,we all are in dark, and we think that our body or we will live more. Our dead body remaines here on earth but our soul goes back to Almighty God.Also, we feel and think about Death as horror or full of affraid. And when we see our nears and dears are no more and their body burining in burialground, a negative image of all scenario takes a place on delicate plate in our mind. And we think seriously that we have to leave this nasty world one day and
same would be repated with our dead body. Also, there is no gurantee about a single second to hundred of years.

We do not earn for 100 years or so. God has kept a secret for our death-day. What we store is for living and living cannot be made without money or materials. Worldly life runs with money only. We earn more now as we believe " make hay while the sun shines". Tomorrow if we r alive we may not be able to earn for lack of opportunity or physical incapacity. We want to live with dignity and by earning as much as possible we ensure that we will not have to compromise with our values or standard for want of money. If we live, we live with dignity and if we die, we die with dignity. So what we can do today we should not leave it for tomorrow.

Every human being born has to die one day. Every thing we do in life has got his time. for eg we search hard for nice job or any girl for marriage but whatever is written in your fate, that will only take place.
Why think of that day that will die soon. Leave the present life happliy.
We try to earn & save the money for future so that our family as grows can leave a happy & healthy life, so we try to earn lot & save the money for future.

Thanks
Jack

One wants to believe what one likes.. People want to live long and happy and so believe that death may not come soon though they see some untimely deaths around.. It is the obvious illusion afflicting average humans..

But one need not fear death... not in philosophical sense but more logical one too.. Rabindranath Tagore sings in his Geethanjali that he is not afraid of death.. In one of the verses he compares the transition from earthly living to other worldly (or taking another body in another womb), to the act of a mother suckling her baby.. the baby cries when the mother takes it away from one breast only find solace when she puts it on the other breast, to feed better.. He ends the verse saying "because I love this life, I know I will love the other death (taking a new life) as well".

Another story in Hindu mythology is more interesting. It says how an adolesent boy brought up in a forest Ashram, went to beg alms for the first time and met a young woman who gave food to him.. As he had met a woman first time, he asked what was the reason for the growth of her breast.. The woman noted the innocence of the mendicant and said that she was going to be a mother and God had provided food for the baby in her breast.. Thereupon the mendicant stopped coming for alms saying to his fellow mendicants that if God cared to feed a baby yet to be born, He will care more for the man who is already born..

This is pure philosophy of faith.. There is ample evidence for prevalence of this faith.. For there are people living in the hostile Himalayas where food is scarce, doing penance and they do live by taking frugal and occassional food that comes their way.. No problem of dehydration and all felt by the average person fasting in the plains..

So one need not fear life and death. Just as one can make life sweet by loving and sharing, one can find fulfillment in the passing away... no fear and no pain anywhere.. all are created by the sweet Lord for our good.. One fears only when one deviates from the law of Love made by the God in his immense Love for us all..
