Ladies, I want to tell you a secret. Don't worry about putting so much emphasis on your outer beauty as you do your inner beauty. I have met many women in my life and the ones who had a loving heart, a sense of innocence and wonder at the world around them, a beautiful smile, love for others, and kept no record of wrongs - those are the ladies I still remember to this day and have a deep place in my heart. Those feelings are the ones that last a lifetime.

Yes , it's possible and yes those feelings do last a lifetime , and thank you for the flattery , but I agree with Erin , Perfect Lady and moby , what about outer beauty ? Why not both ? Yes it's true that we need inner beauty , it's eternal , but outer beauty counts as well , for example : I've meet a guy who wasn't what you call decent looking and though he had a heart of gold , I knew that I wouldn't feel for him as a lover , but as a sister , a friend and that was what frustrated me the most , but I couldn't completely blame myself , because I believe that it's in human nature to care about appearance , beauty in general , compared to the other guy who just thought about his outer beauty and was a complete bone head ... Overall there just has to be some sort of balance , both in outer and inner beauty

Everyone, man, woman or child can be radiant from inner beauty alone. But some care needs to be taken with outer appearance. Inner beauty can be masked if a person has poor hygeine and dirty clothes. When a person takes good care of themselves, their inner beauty can shine through brighter than before.

I agree. I dated a girl once who wasn't physically attractive whatsoever and I lived with her for a while. But the "inner beauty" stuff fades out after a while...

yes inner beauty means so much more,, that's so nice
people have told me I am pretty (all my life) it seemed that's all my family talked about, and not ME !!!!!,,, no one cares/cared about my inner beauty. No one looked deeper, I was to be seen but not heard, they liked me that way.
They made me believe that was all I had to offer.
When someone tells me I am beautiful on the inside, it means the world to me

Definatly. If she is loyal to you has a good sense of humor and a good personality, that is much better than good looks. Beauty is only skin deep and to be honest most beautiful women are very shallow.

These words are so very true Sandstorm. Many people who are extremely attractive on the outside, become very unattractive once you get to know them.
Conversely, there are many people who become much more attractive with familiarity, simply because they are kind, and compassionate, patient, and have a wonderful sense of humor with a smile that reaches their eyes.

unfortunatly, that doesnt work with all men. lots of men judge from the outside too....id hope ud want a girl who would take care of herself...it is respecting oneself and living out her potential. theres nothing wrong with being beautiful on the outside and in!

but you know whats weird, is that ive met some girls who arent exactly the most attractive on the outside and are even worse on the inside. Which doesnt help their case at all.
