No it can't, but people think it can. No amount of money in the world would be enuf for the love I have for my hubby, and we have been married 10 years now, after being married to my ex for 25 years, I never knew what love was, and he was married to his ex and never knew what love was. People try to buy love, but it just comes natural, true love that is!

People like to say yes because of the lack of differentiation between things like love and affection.

Money can't buy you true love but certainly it can buy affection, gratification, pleasure... Also I think it's been pretty well proven that what people think will make them happy, really will not. So even with happiness, while money may help you be able to get something to make you a happier person it's likely that you wouldn't be able to make the right choice.

If you had to buy love, why would you want it? Technically I think the question is asked inaccurately.

The question should probably be, can money RENT love.

I still say no, but would agree that it could RENT the appearance of love by way of gaining affection. Even simple affection you cannot own, so when the money is gone so is the rest.

No money can not buy you love. You need happiness to have love and a person to love.

No, money can buy you sex. That's called prostitution and is a temporary, non emotional relationship.

Love should never be based on money. If it is, it's not real.
