Right answer, wrong set-up.
D=SxT S= 12.5 T=1/4 hr not 0.4
D= 12.5 X 1/4 = 3.125 km

Answer is right, but description on how you reached your solution is wrong.

It should be 12.5 x 0.25 or 12.5 x ¼ or 12.5/4.

15 minutes is ¼ of an hour, or 0.25, not 0.4!
