They actually had a gadget in a museum in San Diego that would take a picture of your face then split it down the middle and show you how your face would look if both sides were actually symmetrical (so there was a face composed of mirrored images of two left sides and one made from mirrored images of two right sides).
Invariably, everyone who used the machine had one face that looked sweet and kind, and another that looked evil! It was really freaky! As I recall, my right sided face was the nice looking one and the left side was the evil looking one.

I know what Medolfan is talking about...
I saw it on PBS. You can actually fold a picture in half and place it against a mirror to do the same thing.
My right side is the evil side...Muwahahhahaha.
