There are some strange going ons with these machines i. e. unlike all other machines that Diebold has come out with the voting system is the only one without a paper trail to check for mistakes and keep track of numbers and calculations

Johns Hopkins researchers at the Information Security Institute issued a report claiming the machines containes "stunning flaws" to sum it up "The researchers concluded that vote totals could be altered at the voting machines and by remote access"

there are tons more sketchy info on them at my source see for yourself and if you dont trust the source hey just google it

Generally, yes.

I've worked with the elections and I'm confident the machines used in Texas will be reliable.

Several different kinds are used, depending on the county. A few still use paper ballots for some elections.

Most places will allow voters to choose either an optical scan ballot or an electronic balloting device.

The elections administrators are very concientious and I have a lot of confidence that they will conduct the best election they can.

By the way, paper ballots tend to be less reliable in a large election than any of the machines I've seen.

I have used every type of voting device there is. I am not concerned, mostly because I live in an area that isn't rife with agitation ... we are all pretty much conservatives here.

Plus, I know how to read a ballot and follow directions.
