Attend the Ice Skating Party in Hell.

I would tell my Cubs fans friends "Congratulations, now maybe you guys can finally shut up and stop moaning all the time."

That's pretty much it. Not everyone would be happy to see the Cubs win. There's a good portion of the population that think the Cubs fans are whiners, complainers and don't really deserve a World Series. There are other teams who haven't won forever. You don't see Indians or Giants fans complaining all the time. You don't see fans of teams like the Padres, Astros, Mariners, etc. complaining cos they've been in the league 40 some years and haven't won one yet.

At the same time, the smallest part of me would be happy for people like Ron Santo, Ryne Sandberg and of course, the players themselves. But just like I would be for any other team that wins it besides my favorite.

BTW, my favorite happens to be the defending World Champs. The first one I've gotten to enjoy...it is so much fun to win it all. :)

LOL I like the 'attend the Ice Skating Party in Hell' answer....good one! I would probably stand there in shock and wonder what the hell is going on?!?!?! Then again, that would be my reaction if they won the division first, heck on the World Series! I may pass out if they got that far! ;-)

As a Yankee fan I'll be disappointed that my team didn't win but will be happy for the Cubs and their fans.

I would do it buy jumping up and down, calling my friends, watching all the news channels that are covering it live (celebrations that is) with pepsi at my disposal. Go Cubbies
