I have an interview next week for being a busperson/dishwasher and I was wondering what does it entail and does it pay like waiters/tresses get paid ($3 an hr) or would it be a more practical wage?

The busser or busperson is the one who clears the tables of the dirty dishes and gets them set up for the next customers and the dishwasher does just that. He/she washes the dirty dishes. I don't know where you are from so I don't know what they pay. It might depend if you are going to be tipped out or not. This means if the waiters/tresses are required to give you a portion of their tips. Not all restaurants require this. If it is not required than you will probably getting minimum wage or whatever the equivalent is where you are at.
