Honda used to make a CBR 250, but haven't for a few years now. Second hand ones are still available, although there is the danger that they have been 'thrashed'. Honda still makes the CB250, and have come up with a new model (actually, I think it's about 230 capacity). In America, it's called the Honda Rebel. Honda also make the VTR 250, a terrific bike and a lot of fun. Much better than theCBR250, IMHO.

Because Kawasaki make the 250 Ninja thats blows all other 250s out of the water...And off the road.

Its all market research, believe me, ALL the bike companies have alot of intelligent people watching the various trends in the market form worldwide, to countries, and probably even regions of countries. If there was a place for any potential sales of such machines they would be all over it. In main land Japan for instance, there is a market for smaller bikes, and they do have some serious sport bikes of the size you describe.
