What does SILENCE sound like?

Silence to me can be golden. Its your heart beat....its the outside pressure feeling like diving into a swimming pool, it can drown you...it can be empty when your heart is lonely...and it can be the one thing you need to experience to figure out the bottom line to an issue. It can be broken, and it can be deafening. So when you have it, awe can be before it, but respect it because it is one of the few mysteries left.

Quite noisy in a funny kind of way! One thing I remember being told when I was young is how Native Americans used to go insane when living alone on the Plains centuries ago because of the silence and how it used to be like white noise to them!

Haven't you heard the sounds of silence?
It is very quiet if you are quiet and noisy if you are noisy
it is birds singing and crickets cricking and winds whistling
it is sounds which you don't listen to till you are silent ,sit quietly ,close your eyes and open your ears and make your mind go blank and then you will hear all the sounds of silence try to listen daily for 10 minutes it will be sweet music to your ears .

Silence is perceptually relative. What stands outside of one animal's auditory decibel range stands within another animals auditory decibel range. There are some things that we can hear that other animals cannot, and that they can hear that we cannot. Thus, what sounds like silence for one sounds like noise for another.
