You'll need a video card with TV out capability (usually an s-video cable or s-video-to-RCA cable - - your TV needs to have an s-video or rca input.)
See here:

Under "S-Video, TV-Out, & Dual Monitor Support"
Hope this helps!

Yeah it is called S-Video cable..
But you should have the TV tuner card or the port which supports it... :)
Then use the function keys on ur laptop to change the view.

Check this link and it should give u an idea about the connection, Mediacenter is jus an other OS like WindowsXP which supports entertainment.

It will also depend on your TV. Newer TVs will actually have a VGA or DVI (The cable that connects your computer to your monitor is going to be VGA (Blue) or DVI (Gray-usually)port built into them, in which case you would easily be able to connect them. Hope this helps.

first you have to check, whether your computer supports an s-video out mechanism. If so using and AV cable you will be able to connect your computer to TV. (It is the same cable which we used to connect DVD player, or VCR to connect to TV).
