People talk about all the injured stars - Edge, HBK, when HHH and Rey were injured etc etc. Not that i like him but no one has been talking about Bobby Lashley.
Lets talk about Mr Lashley shall we, he was getting a huge push this year.
So how do you think 2008 will treat Lashley?
I think he may win the Rumble and become World champion

I hope they bring him back as a heel. Despite his push he's still fairly green with mediocre wrestling skills and fairly bad mike skills.
I think when he returns they should do with him what they did with Brock Lesnar when he first debuted: pair him up with a heel manager to act as his mouthpiece and just destroy everybody in sight.

One of the reasons why nobody cares much about him is not for lack of abilities, but for the fact that you can't compare The Undertaker, Triple H and Rey Mysterio's names to Lashley. They have been longer in the WWE and they do have more fans. Besides at one point of their life they were World Heavyweight or WWE Champions. Bobby on the other side was only ECW champion. I know that Lashley has great abilities in wrestling since this is the sport that he always played. Even though Lashley has a great potential as a wrestler, he doesn't have the charisma to keep people on their toes when it comes to PPV Main Events, especially Wrestlemania, unless he is fighting someone that everybody else hates (ie, Umaga, Chris Masters & others). He was a champion in ECW because he was more talented than the other 11 wrestlers that they have in the branch and people actually watched it more often since they acquired more talent in the branch. Now that he is gone from ECW, and John Morrison is no longer there, they will lose some fans, not that Morrison was any good, but for sure he got the girls attention. One of the reason I don't see Bobby Lashley being a champion on SD or RAW is because you have other superstars there that have a bigger name and their charisma is to high for Lashley (ie, Batista, The Undertaker, Triple H, HBK, John Cena, Edge & Randy Orton). I'm not saying that they are better wrestlers than Lashley, but their names will keep them in the top for a while. Lashley just started in the WWE business, it will be about time for him to get a bigger name and right after that his charisma will increase and he will be a champion again. I know that they will do something for his comeback as well.

You know who sh!ts me? Lashley,the guy is a decent wrestler but has the worst mic skills in the WWE. He can't connect with the crowd and nearly starts cracking up when he is supose to be serious.But still gets this monster push, Sure Shelton is not great on the mic but he is to Lashley. If Shelton was given a push like Lashley then Shelton would be over with the crowd.

probly won't win the next royal rumble as he is out till bout march
i think not as many were talking bout him cos he isn't a former world champion and it wasn't a big high profile exit it was first announced on wwe.com so most people kno the severity of the injury but edge had to relinquish his title, hhh was strechered off in a ppv, hbk woz ortons 'first victim' and rey quit after a major rivalry, wheras lashley only walked off holding his shoulder

I think people haven't talked about him as much because he hasn't been out as long as those guys were.
If he can come back in time, I'd definitely have him winning the Royal Rumble and headlining Wrestlemania.
The WWE might have jumped the gun on a Cena/Lashley match. That should have been saved for Wrestlemania.

At first I wasn't all that impressed with Lashley till i saw his work as ECW champ . He could be the next Ron Simmons , I believe that if he can stay healthy and avoid getting suspended like so many others then yes i can see afairly bright future for him.

I like Lashley and I think he should go to SD since there are too many people on Raw!! He could be a great champ on SD!!

AND IN 2008 LASHLEY WILL END UP CHAMP BUT HE WONT WIN THE RUMBLE. AND IT WILL BE AROUND JUNE JULY WHEN HE WINS THE TITLE.

I forgot he was injured to. I don't think he is gonna win the double r tho. Its might go to an ECW superstar cuz no one in ECW has ever won the rumble yet.
