due to a broken promise by democrats that they will get us out of this war and they will bring America back like what Hillary is using in her campaign for president you think if she could have done it as a senator she can do it as a president, the democrats don't have a plan to exit Iraq more then the republican had a reason to enter Iraq.

Everyone assumed that if Democrats got control of both house and senate that maybe things could happen! That they could force Bush to do things he didn't want, but as you can see, nobody can agree on anything...not even members of the same party agree, there is a good and bad to this as there has always been the good is that laws and things that are thought up quickly are hard to get passed threw both house and senate, which means that only well thought and good laws can be passed, the bad is that...they have to be well thought and enough people have to like it...which takes a very long time, and without the presidents support it makes it even harder to do.

Because the voters saw that in sum, the Republicans backed bad foreign policy and an incompetent, arrogant, undemocratic and criminal moron in the Oval Office, a moron who is trying to force his will on the country, rather than do the will of the people. Bush and his party shall pay the price. I believe we will see the Pubs lose even more seats in the next general election and the beginning of impeachment proceedings by this year's end.

through fact the republicans have lost their way. In did not vote republican not becasue i think of the democrats are greater advantageous yet through fact the GOP needs to realize what they're meant to stand for. i prefer to advise going libertarian and balloting for much less government administration, greater community administration and going back to the fundamentals. once you have a settlement, that settlement could desire to be enforced and abided by ability of. The settlement with the human beings is noted as the form. in case you prefer to alter it, there's a technique noted as a constitutonal ammendment . you won't be able to jsut make some regulation that that doesn't pass constitutional muster nor, could desire to some decide figuring out the motive. through fact of this the republicans will lose back except they pass back to their roots of representing the human beings interior the government.

I think because they have one of the biggest dummies that has even been a president. I been a republican for over 30 years and I voted for Bush. I was asked today who I would vote for if the the election was now. I said what difference does it make it is no way that we could do worse. I just may have to move to the demorcratic ticket this time around.

They're in denial.
Main reason: Iraq
Secondary reason: Image of corruption in government run by Republicans
They refuse to change because they've convinced themselves they weren't conservative enough.

They became complacent, arrogant and lazy. They spent money like a drunken democrat and made no progress on securing the border besides a last minute pander.

Voters saw issues they weren't happy with and wanted change. They don't change because they weren't responsible for those issues.
