You should wear a black shirt, black tie, and a black leather jacket. Also have Dark Sunglasses on the whole time. You will be convicted, but you'll look cool and the judge will know that he can't F with you.

I wouldn't wear black if I were you to a court hearing.
Black gives the impression that your withdrawn and unapproachable and possibly depressed.
Why don't you go out and buy yourself a pair of blue jeans and a nice shirt with a belt?
Blue gives the impression of being sincere and easy to get along with.
If your driving around lost who would you rather stop and get directions from?
Someone wearing all black or someone wearing mostly blue?
All black can be an intimidating color but blue or green are neutral and very nice.
Avoid red at all cost because red stands for aggressiveness
or anger and you don't want to plead your case in court while giving the Judge the impression your an angry young man whose more guilty than not.
A little word of advice for the court.
Always address the Judge when spoken to with "Yes your Honor" or "No your Honor" or "Yes Sir" or "No Sir".
Show the Judge respect and appear humble and sincere and that will take you a long way in the right direction.
And be truthful even if it's incriminating towards you.
If your honest the Judge will respect you for it and might even suspend your case.
My own personal experiences.

A black shirt will be fine as long as its a nice button up shirt, which sounds like it is since its with a suit. I would go with the white tie that way it stands out. Just make sure you dont wear white socks lol! Good luck

don't wear black shirt with black suit if you're the defendant. go to walmart and spend $10 on a white dress shirt. wear black tie with white shirt and black suit. that says you have respect for the court. your appearance WILL matter - be safe.

All black is fine, I think a white or red tie would be a little too showy for court though. Go with the black tie, that will be classy and appropriately somber...

I think a white tie might be a little too bold, but the black shirt sounds ok. Good luck for your hearing.

It is okay, but not wise.
Don't wear your black suit.
Wear jeans and a white shirt.
For real.
Forget the combo that you or anyone else thinks looks good and think about what you are up against.

Oof, bad idea no matter how you slice it. Given those choices, I would choose the white tie. A patterned gray or blue tie would be better if you can get one.... really I think you should get a lighter colored shirt if you can. Black on black is gonna look kinda cocky to some of your jurors, to be brutally honest. Hm, I dunno, if it's black shirt & jacket already, on second thought maybe the "somber"-ness of the black tie would work, too.

Black shirt, no way! Hasn't your attorney talked to you about how to dress?
Get a white shirt, and a conservative tie.
What kind of impression do you want to make on the court?

All my situations on jury accountability, I on no account concept to seem cool. As a prior juror, i does no longer decide for to work out you in a black shirt. in the adventure that your in charge, then pass forward, positioned on black and seem cool. It wont final long besides. in the adventure that your no longer in charge then via all ability positioned on a great white shirt with a blue or crimson tie.
