Am I whoever I say I am or am I who I was created to be without control of any aspect of my existence. I don't expect many people to have an answer that is truly insightful or wise because I have encountered too many people who don't know themselves anyway. Are we all just another ball on the big pool table of the universe? One highly calculated shot from God knocks us around and into each other until we fall into our predesignated pocket. If I were to ask those who kow me then I would recieve a biased opinion about who I am. Am I as smart as I want to be or am I stuck in a circle due to delusions of grandeur? Who can tell me with righteous truth whether we are who we are or if we have deluded ourselves into thinking that we are a specifically different type of person all together. Perception may be a powerful adversary of mine.

this is a very common question most people will face at somepoint in their lives. you are who you say you are, you are also who you have been created to be. in additon you are what people perceive through interaction and experiances. can you truely know yourself? what does it mean to know your self? does understanding everything around you mean you know your self? does understanding the workings of your own mind mean you know yourself? no one will ever truely know who they are or what they are capable of. in order to do so would require having been through every single thought, action, situation and experiance. making every decision and reaching every conclusion ever made in existance. that in itself is impossable because with each situation one makes decisions, those decisions come to conclusions. and having reach that conclusion you have left behind countless other conclusions that could have been. so you never really completly know yourself. you only know the results of the actions you've made through your life.

There is no answer to this. This, like most philosophy answers, are answered by what you believe. If you are asking my perception, you are the actions that you commit. If you go and have some ice cream right now, you are an ice cream eater. Just by reading this you are a reader. You are whoever and whatever you see yourself to be. I believe that is why people who have no self confidence feel down and people who just lay around doing nothing feel blank. However there is a limit to that. If you tried living the oceans with dolphins that would not make you a dolphin. Why? Because you don't have fins like a dolphin, you can't communicate like a dolphin and everything else in between that distinguishes the difference between a dolphin and a human. Your question is like a black dot on a white paper. No one knows for sure if its black paper or white paper; whether its a black dot or a white dot. The only thing we can do is awknowledge that there is a dot and different colors.

I have no idea .You may be a person ,an individual ,an illusion ,a creation by God or none of these. We are all trapped in our own minds trying to reason why we are here in the first place .And are we experiencing reality or not.If we are not here then where are we .Are we part of the Universe or is that an illusion also .How can we possibly know. Are we alive or are we in some sort of limbo between life and death. Did God create us, if so what for. You can go on and on trying to reason what existence is about but you may never know .

you metioned god. one of god's law's is that all beings have free will. we are given life which is called a gift. it's called a gift because we have free will to mold our lives into what we want our lives to be.
example we are all born inherently good. but it's our enviroment and the people in it are who persuade us to become a certain person. i use the word persuade because. they cant tell us what the outcome will be. we have life experience it's up to us to dig down deep to use our intuition to become closer to our true nature. we are all different. we are like thumb print's unique in every way so, that's where the uniqueness come's from.

you said your not looking for any insightful answer's because its only a few who really know them selves. what i have to say about that is we are learning being's. it take several life time's to get it right. from this day till the minutes before death we are constantly learning about our selves'. for someone to say i know my self is a lyer. we are for ever changing being's like the river that flow's. what you know about your self for this time right now will change in moment's. you see impossiblbe.
example and this is morbid so excuse me. but i'm using a good example here. you could say i'm the kind of person who hold's life as valuble and hold all being's in high regard. i would never kill anyone not ever. but let's say that you found out that a man has molested your child. or while walking in a park your your accausted and raped repeatedly and he's beating you to death and he wont stop till you do something about it i'm sure you would begin to think kill or be kill. or the angry parent who loses rational mind and is guided by anger and blindly goe's off and kill's the preditor.

to know your self fully is totally impossible. you can only make decission's in your life for the moment that you can assume that you'll be proud of in the future. you know striving to be the person that you your self can live with. then you become morally ethical for your self and toward's other. you can learn thing's about your self in life that help mold you into the person who will make the right ethical decission's.

just too know this in the end in death on earth. we will meet our maker. so living your life the way that i mentioned is not just for momentary gratification it's about setting up a nest egg for the after life. where would you like to live in eternity? hell or heaven?

i hope this has shed light for you for the moment.

I also ask "who am I"

Sometimes I think I am smart and sexy sometimes I am mean and stupid as possible as it can be.

I often think I would rather cast all and became a buddhist, but when I am having sex I think the goal of life must be to get pleasure as much as possible.

who the hell am i?

Nothing will be You if You cannot be thought as "part, whole, equivalence, uniqueness, link, limit, influence, sensation, origin, derivative, rule, condition, intent, and fulfillment."
