best friend is one with whom u can communicate unhesitatingly and frankly. tell your friend frankly to get over the excess sweating and bad b.o. by consulting a physician and resorting to other remedies. friendship is the deepest relation and if you hesitate to be frank with him it is no friendship.

He might have a physical problem and need to see a doctor as this could be a symptom of something wrong. Otherwise he can ask the doctor about this and get something to help decrease the sweating and check the B.O.

if you had to suggest something to him just do it in a nice way cos a friend of mine lost a friend trying to get thing like this right.
i guess your friend needs to use a roll on. Shaving the armpit and applying a roll on will be good. i will recommend you buy him a gillette triple protection clear gel(cool wave)(antiperspirant and deodorant) and a very powerful cologne If u r close to him try to tell him to wear light clothes, cos sometimes the sweat brings most of the odour

buy him a bottle of very nice cologne or something when a birthday comes around. Maybe a "just because" gift if you can't wait that long..say "hey I was in the store the other day and I saw this..and I thought... I haven't just done something crazy and bought a gift for you before..or in a long time..so here you go..Girls LOVE this stuff...it drives them nuts :)

Of course you don't want to hurt your best friend feelings. What he needs is help with his problem. Buy your friend a beauty set that consist of soap, underarm deodorant, Cologne and suggest or tell him that you want him to use the soap because you like the smell of it..God bless....

Tell him, but preface the conversation with something like this, "I really don't want to hurt your feelings, but..." or "Don't take this wrong, but..."
