Are other examples you know of of how Asian American issues are ignored or glossed over because of the Black/White paradigm, or the stereotypes of all Asians as the Model Minority who face no significant problems and should be 'models' for African Americans and others to emulate or copy to be successful in the U.S.

Not only are Asians ignored but they are even more stereotyped than other groups. Asian children are portrayed as being nerdy and super smart, Asian women are hot lovers, and men typically are portrayed as being asexual, nerdy, martial arts experts, and with mystical powers.
