I am planning on creating a website. I would like to use pictures that I find on the internet such as google images to present certain articles. Can you use random pictures as long as you put a disclaimer on the bottom of the page that you dont own the pictures? If not how can I use pictures on the site that I find on the web?

Most images Will say that you can't copy them, if it doesn't have a disclaimer you can use them for non commercial use with no problems

Many images are copyrighted. You need permission from the copyright holder in order to use them. Some have copyright notices and tell you if they allow others to use them. Many images are not for use otherwise.

legally, it depends on the picture and the nature of it's use. i would say thta if it's for class or something like that, then you're fine...but, if it's for your business...you better get permission.
