I live about a five minute drive from the Pacific Ocean, and I've been to the Atlantic Ocean a few times when I go down to visit relatives in Brasil.

I will be traveling to the Pacific Ocean in exactly 24 hours, as I am going to SF to be with Rob (!!)... I have been there last year, too, and I have seen the Atlantic a few times.
but the Ocean I am most familar with is the Indian Ocean because my father used to live in Comoro Islands, between Madagascar and Mozambique.... just a spectacular place to be!

Love the question - is so bizzare to think that some people have never been to the ocean! Grew up in Oz - so pretty much born on the beach - also been to Pacific, Atlantic, Mediterranean...the ocean feels like home to me.
