I'm 14 and I'm gonna be 15 in 'Vember. If I do go, I'm gonna be going with my family, but I dunno. It's a lil' embarrassing...=[ (My dad's 40 and he's going, by the way. He's gonna be Jesus. LOL...)

You're never too old to go trick-or-treating.

I have been tricker or treating a lot older than that. However, recently, I have done it a bit differently.

Weekend before Halloween, we place flyers in the mailbox of an neighborhood, explaining that on Halloween we would be collecting canned goods for a local food pantry.

Then on Halloween, we dress up in costume and go out during trick or treat hours. 3-4 people go door to door, while one person drives a car with the trunk open (canned goods are heavier than candy)

We collect a lot of canned goods for the food pantry and have a ton of fun at the same time.

Trick-or-treating is for children and technically you are still a child. I know some people think that teens are a bit old for it but, I don't think so.
Halloween is the one time a year where we all get to dress up and act like a kid and have fun. If anyone denies you candy because of your age then they are a right old scrooge!
Go and have fun! :)
Good luck!

The Calendar doesn't decide how "old" you are. YOU do. I knew a COOL 93 year old Lady once- who went Trick-or-Treating with one of her Great- Granddaughters... SHE was dressed up as the "Fairy Godmother"- to her 8 year Old Great- Granddaughter's "Cinderella"! The old Lady ended up with MORE candy at the end of the night- than the kid did! So "go with the flow". Maybe "Jesus" needs a Roman Soldier- to keep an "eye" on Him! :)

Last time I went trick-or-treating, I was almost 23. Of course, I was chaperoning a 3-year-old and a 2-year-old at the time.

Psh. I'm 18 and I still love to dress up and trick or treat for a bit before I go to a party.

Door to door trick-or-treating is best reserved for the little children. A better way for someone your age to celebrate Halloween would be to throw a big party.

You can't be too old, I've seen 45 year old parents who go trick or treating with their kids.
