Hi Gus:
It doesnt matter if it dropped from the poorest man or the richest man. The right thing to do no matter what is to always return it to the person that had originally dropped it.
It was never ours to begin with so we have absolutely no right to decide who should we return the $100 to. It goes to the person that dropped it, plain and simple.
Do the right thing
Be safe and be well

Yes to both. Feeling like a jerk is not worth money.
Also just because a person owns a Mercedes does not make them a bad person or mean that they wouldn't miss that $100.
oh and just because the lady is old doesn't make her sweet or poor either.
You can't tell someone's character just by looking at them, all you can do is make sure your character is good.

Makes me think... Eww, not liking what I am thinking... The lady, YES... The guy out of the Mercedes, I would hesitate, but still wrong is wrong... I would give it back... The thought is bad enough isn't it... :(

If i seen the person actually drop it .. I would give it back to them.. But if i found a wallet on the other hand and it had there address or id in the wallet i might keep the money and mail the wallet back to them... so im not the best person i guess...

you answer this what are the odds of someone giving it back to you if you dropped it. and what are the odds of someone droping a hundred dollar bill right in front of you. Id understand if it was one dollar or a five or even a twenty but a hundred come on maybe it was ment for you to pick it up and keep it!!

No questions asked, the money goes back to the owner no matter who it is.
Wouldn't be able to forget how I got that money if I kept it. Besides, if it were my money, I would hope somebody would return it.

I'd return the cash to them, and I'd like someone to do the same for me if I'd dropped any money.

Yea, I'd return it on both accounts. A lot different then just finding it, you actually know who it belonged to.
