Nope.

That is ridiculous. No one will be able to exactly incorporate when a war of such massive significance and destruction would take place.

Yes I believe he was a man ahead of his time for his ideas and beliefs. His writings are not always easy to figure out -- what they really mean, what time they fit into ect. I believe only he and maybe people close to him know the real meanings behind his writings. Yes the world will end one day but I don't think the end is near. Yes one day WW3 will take place, and I feel that this could happen soon, N. Korea or another country with powerful weapons could fire them at the US or another country they don't like and thats all it would take.

The year 2012 didn't come from Nostradamus, it came from the Aztec/Mayan calender which ends that year. It does say the world will end in fire though. I guess we'll have to wait and see if it's true.

No, I don't believe Nostradamus.
For one thing, he never listed specific names, places, or dates.

All of his "predictions" are realized only after the event has occured. People take his writings and work out interpretations in order to make them fit the event. Until they find any of his writings that clearly states, "In *this year* at *this place,* *this event* will occur..." I will not believe any of his prophecies.

The first time I ever heard of Nostrdamas was in the 1950s. My step brother bought a book of his predictions because of the flap at the time, seeing his predictions as meaning the USSR, US and UK would destroy one another.

Nostradamas can be read too many different ways to allow him to be useful.

The reading list below can act as a source for you. Most of the titles can be found in your local library. If they don't have them they can borrow them from another library.

A lot of the things he predicted never happened. But some of the things did so I guess we'll have to wait and find out.
