I think it's those cars with the windows all rolled up and you can hear the boom, boom, boom ot the stereo speakers from blocks away. It drives me mad when I am trying to sleep and a car like that stops on my corner stop sign. How do these drivers hear an emergency vehicle from inside that thing, or even another car honking?

people popping/snapping/smacking their gum. as a college student it is frustrating enough to be in class for an hour and a half and then you add some idiot girl smacking/popping away on her gum? not only is that INCREDIBLY annoying and distracting to me but also really disrespectful to the professor. other places it is definitely not ok to do this- church, wedding/funeral, the movies. what are these people thinking?

Most have already been mentioned, but if I am trying to fall asleep, it is that misquito flying around my ear! Or the neighbor's dog barking on Saturday morning when I want to sleep in. Or is it the screaming kid in the grocery store that the mother buys his silence or lies to him and tells him to shut up or she is going to spank him. I really dunno which is the worst, but I think it is the one happening at the moment of the most irritation, don'tchathink?
