Cause radio stations have a song list they have to follow. Unfortunately, repeats happen all the time on radio stations.

Because you need to develop your own taste in music, and listen to what you like. That way, you can listen to the same song a few times a day for months, and it doesn't matter because it's your choice. Right now, you are listening to the same songs over and over because you are choosing to do that. Nobody is making you do it. It's your own lack of imagination and will that you are listening to top 40 stations.

It's called top 40. You are just now realizing this. I haven't listened to the radio in like 7 years.

Because the people that pay the media groups bought their song's chance to get heavy rotation. The more people listen to it, regardless of whether they like it, the more it plays.
You have the power to change the dial, pick another format to listen to, or even go read a book or start a hobby.

That is because radio is not about anything creative, it's about the programmers, none of whom have any idea what they are doing. Easy listening, right? Probably, but it doesn't matter. Buy your music.
