I'm Beth and I was surprised with a trip to Hawaii by my fiance last
night. We leave next Weds afternoon. I am scheduald to get my monthly
Period next Tuesday the day before!!! Is there anyway i can get around
this? I just picked up my new pack of Birth Control today and i'm not sure
if i should start taking them or if theres even a way to skip this one
period..
If i started taking them on the day of will it stop?
Help!!

You may not be able to skip it this early.
Talk to your doctor who prescribed them and ask when you should take them in order to not have your period during that time.

The best thing to do is to give your gyno or general doctor a call before you try to skip it, but from what I understand it is ok once and a while to skip the week of placebo pills in your birth control and start the new cycle of medication. But PLEASE talk to your doctor before you do that in case this would put at risk for complications!
