John S: Well Thank you very much!
I admit it. I am an Idealist. Unabashedly!
I LOVE the United States! I have for quite some time really feared for the people of this country. I really think people truly want to believe that our elected officials are looking out for our best interests, but it is becoming more and more abundantly clear that they are looking out for themselves and their wealthy powerful friends first and foremost. My motto is if you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything!!
TRUTH ALWAYS!!

This life and this country belongs to all of us as well as the wealthy and powerful!
Empower yourselves people!!

What are you waiting for??
What kind of world do you want to leave for your children and their children??

The 'Mexican truck' business is a part of NAFTA, but its been hung up for years because of certain side agreements that the Clinton administration demanded to protect the US trucking industry. Evidently the Bush administration has managed to overturn these side agreements....once again screwing the American wage-earner for the benefit of 'free trade'. Way back then, as a former Teamster, I kept my eye on this horror story and I was relieved when Bill Clinton listened to union officials and at that point managed to save several thousands of US jobs. (He also insisted on other side agreements for other industries as well. Now all that is gone.) No matter what anyone says about this it's not going to be good for anyone except maybe the Mexican drug cartels and the people smugglers. What a slap in the face. I'm certain some of the responses to this question will leap all over Bill Clinton for ever signing on to this NAFTA BS, and maybe he does have some major responsibility, but he really did try to deal with the Mexican trucker bit.. Ah,well...Bush got elected twice...we live and we don't learn. Maybe if we all wrote him......yeah..that'll work!

I don't believe it's a myth and very much appreciate getting this link to share with others. This is being forced upon us as if we had no voice at all in what happens to our country. Putting regulations aside so that Mexican truckers could be allowed on our roads as quick as possible to push this plan forward shows total disregard for Americans right to govern themselves. All Americans need to learn the truth before all of our rights are gone and our economy is shot to heck.

Like Pres Reagan even stated--'save executive small & States & electorate great'. This Adm is stomping over our shape 'OF the human beings by ability of the human beings FOR the human beings'. different worldwide places have noted as us apathetic and sweetness why we voted this Adm two times. they don't be attentive to the ideas used. the place's the biggest factors on the march--all and sundry needs to take part--previously this Adm pulls some thing else. Our actual liberty we like is at stake. happy Easter!!!

Once again, as usual I might add, you have asked a question that most here will rebuke. I applaud your undying efforts to provide well written and extensively researched facts. Your answers are top drawer and your questions are very provocative at times. I have said many times here that the heart of the immigration delay is due to the NAU being so close to fruition. This trucking situation isnt proof but just another inevitable result of deals made years ago.
