Hi people, PLEASE DONT GET OFFENDED BY THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN HELP!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I need to write a research paper by sep. 20, and it needs to be on african americans (blacks)

Blacks. Evaluate the degree of racism or gender bias that affected your chosen group from 1877 through 1919. In other words, what problems did they face economically, socially, and politically?
Next, trace the development of the Civil Rights Movement for your chosen group from the 1920's to the present. Include federal programs and legislation, key Supreme Court cases, leaders / organizations, and notable events dealing with Women, Hispanics, or Blacks.

What part did you need help with? I have exceeded my daily email quota so I have to type this here During the time period that you are talking about there were social problems. There was discrimnation in movie theaters, restaurants and public establishments. We faced denial of access to public facilities. There was no equal opportunity employment. So there was economic hardship because jobs were limited. Schools were segregated so we were behind academically. All of these things changed with the Civil Rights Act of 1964 banning all of these things. Politically, Jim Crow laws kept african americans from having the right to vote based on literacy tests and grandfather clauses. Voting Rights were obtained in 1965 by the Voting Rights Act.ve exceeded my daily email quota so I have to type this.

this childrens is yet another ploy to make you think of that American Blacks and Africans hate one yet another, they don't, and that's noted as an attempt at divide and triumph over, next time they'll ask "why do Caribbean Blacks hate American Blacks " or "why do American Blacks hate eu Blacks"...you get my flow....
