I think Fred Thompson is the incarnation of Ronald Reagan, that is,a vacuous right wing ham who only knows what his handlers tell him to think. The only reason he's running is because his power hungry wife wants in the White House.
2.I don't care who wins the GOP nomination, but whoever it is will get annihilated on Election Day because the people are tired of all that the GOP has become.

I like Thompson as an actor... that's it. He was not that stellar as a senator... he was okay, that's all. He was not a leader in the Senate and he did not write any substantial legislation in all of his terms. I really don't see what people see in him except that he was on television..... hmmmm, people, television is not life.
I think everyone in your list (except McCain) will beat Thompson. He will start out strong and then fizzle when the real dirty campaigning starts. I don't think he has the endurance or the stamina to fight... He certainly didn't in the Senate.

Fred Thompson is an actor. If you want an actor, hire an actor. If you want a president look for someone else.

properly, i admire Fred Thompson as an actor. He seems a all the way down to earth form of guy. i be attentive to precisely Jack squat approximately his political stances, even with the undeniable fact that. i will wait until I hear from him and do somewhat prognosis previously I come to a determination if i will vote for him.

I like him. He is probably the most conservative of any of the candidates. I also believe he'd be strong on national defense. Afterall, if we don't defend ourselves, then nothing else is gonna matter, anyway...
