I had my daugher on Similac which was great....but because of me having W.I.C. they recently changed the formula to Enfamil. Since the change about 2 weeks ago she has had so much gas and spit up a lot....so I tried the Enfamil Gentlease....this seemed to help a little but it seems to fill her up less. Im just curious if anyone has these problems with this formula because I am considering just going back to Similac and getting rid of W.I.C.

What is up w/ WIC? My son is on it and he is 7wks and he was gassy and fussy.. took himto the doctor and he has acid reflux. Now, I do add cereal to his formula cause of the thickness and he is so much happier. I do not know what is up w/ wic changing these children formulas cause in Oct., they are changing his to Similac. They say it is the same thing. Good luck.. Talk to your doc..It may not b the formula.

I am having similar troubles over her W.I.C. is changing in Louisiana over to Enfamil in October. I actually prefer Enfamil because my son didn't spit up as much, my twin girls spit up alot on Similac, but I haven't tried Enfamil on them, not until October.

My son is on Enfamil lipil w/iron. He does spit up, sometimes more than others, so i changed him to the Gentlease. That did fill him up less and it also gave him dirarria = / So i changed him back to lipil w/iron. He seems fine with it so its working for me. He did have alot of gas at first when he was about one month (4 months now), so i started using the Playtex Ventaire bottles and that significantly reduced the amount of gas that he had.
Hope this helps = ]

you cant just change your babys formula. you must gradually change it over. like 3oz of similac&1oz of enfamil for a week, then the next week 2oz of similac&2oz of enfamil, etc etc

I used WalMart's brand "Parent's Choice" at the advice of my Pediatrician. It worked great on all 3 of my kids.
