It's either from the seventies or eighties and these are some words.
If I could fly, I'd lift you up. I'd take you into the night and show you love, like you've never seen, ever seen.
That's all I got folks, thanks to all in advance.

Title Into The Night
Artist Benny Mardones

She's just sixteen years old leave her alone, they say
Separated by fools who don't know what love is yet
But I want you to know

If I could fly, I'd pick you up
I'd take you into the night and show you a love
Like you've never seen, ever seen

It's like having a dream where nobody has a heart
It's like having it all and watching it fall apart
And I would wait till the end of time for you
And do it again, it's true
I can't measure my love there's nothing to compare it to
But I want you to know

If I could fly, I'd pick you up
I'd take you into the night and show you a love
If I could fly, I'd pick you up
I'd take you into the night and show you a love
Like you've never seen, ever seen

If I could fly, I'd pick you up
I'd take you into the night and show you a love
If I could fly, I'd pick you up and take you into the night

If I could fly, I'd pick you up into the night
I'd pick you (to the night, to the night, to the night)

Apparently, it also looks like the song was written by the guys of U2 before they became famous. When I looked under OldieLyrics dot com, it said it was written by "Paul Harrison, Larry Muller, Adam Clayton, and Dave Evans." That's pretty close to U2's members' real names: Paul Hewson, Larry Mullen, Adam Clayton, Dave Evans." Is this a joke, or the real thing? Take a look at the link in the source box below and you tell me.

It is a song by Danny Marconis called Up to the Sky.

Who is Benny Mardones? Did he sing this song too?

I didn't see it on his website.
