You bleed as a result of the abortion, the abortion has cleaned out the womb the way a period does if no egg is fertilized. Most women will get their next period 28 days later or whenever their normal cycle is.
Your body may be on a bit of a hormonal rollercoaster-you went from pg to not pg in just a few days and sometimes your body has to figure that out.

Most abortions done at less than 8 weeks now use RU-486 pill, when available and appropriate. It just brings on a normal miscarriage. Yes, you would get bleeding (it is not your period, it is your miscarriage). Check out the Planned Parenthood site for more information on this.

It is RARE to know your pregnant at only 2 weeks. I do not even think it's possible. What happens to who's body, yours, or the one you destroyed?
